NEW TEAM SPONSOR SWEEPS IN...
Arena-Essex have landed a lucrative team sponsorship deal from Kent Sweepers Ltd on the eve of the 2001 season.
The Rochester based firm, who specialise in road and precinct sweepers, telescopic site handlers, rough terrain forklifts etc., have depots throughout the country, and all at the club are thrilled that they will be backing the Hammers in this year's Premier League.
They take over from the Eddy Grimstead Motor Company who were the club's backers last year.
After clinching the deal
earlier this week, Hammers co-promoter Colin Brine

The announcement was made by Brine and fellow consortium members Adrian Kearney and Alan Sargent in front of the Hammers' faithful, who had gathered on Friday (23rd February) to attend the Arena-Essex Supporters Club AGM.
The AGM saw the committee of Carol McCree, Jan Warner, Diane Farmer, Kay Driscoll and Clive Cockrill re-elected en bloc.
